- Christine 08/21/2008 11:22:15 CDT (20)
Well we only have 1 i called to see about getting a second onee and they wanted an extra 18 bucks a month!!!! (nt) - azmommaof6 08/21/2008 11:23:17 CDT (0)
We had 1 in the city before we moved and then we asked them if we could have 2 here and they said yes but now I think they only allow 1 now. (nt) - Christine 08/21/2008 11:24:02 CDT (1)
we have a dumpster, but the houses down the street only have one can that they put out on the street. (nt) - proudmommy5 08/21/2008 11:25:31 CDT (0)
As many as you want...No limit! (nt) - tripntwinmom 08/21/2008 11:26:44 CDT (0)
We only have one - you can put out as much garbage as you want but it costs $2/bag (nt) - lucina3 08/21/2008 11:29:41 CDT (0)
We live on a farm and have just a "guy in a truck" pick up our stuff. He drives all the way down our drive w/o us having to push everything out to the street corner. So we try to be really nice about it and keep it to one can and a couple of bags on the side. (nt) - OurGoldenApples 08/21/2008 11:31:08 CDT (0)
Ummm, I think it was like 5 or 8 cans or 12 - 15 bags or something. We put 1 can out ever other week. (nt) - xixstar 08/21/2008 11:36:23 CDT (0)
We have a private service and it's unlimited. (I'm such a city girl, I never even knew places existed where the city or county didn't just come get it!) (nt) - Nine-Arrows 08/21/2008 11:39:29 CDT (0)
We have 2 what they call toters they are huge rolling cans! We are allowed to have as many bags extra as we want. (nt) - mom2twelve 08/21/2008 12:09:19 CDT (0)
we use 4, but put out as many as we want (nt) - threebarryboys 08/21/2008 12:29:33 CDT (0)
DH does a dump run it is cheaper than them picking up. so we can have as many as we want (nt) - my-8-angels 08/21/2008 13:13:59 CDT (0)
In our community, they don't have garbage cans... but you can put out as many as you want. We normally have 4 - 8. Trash days M & Th. with TH being recycle too... we have 2 recycle bins, still not big enough, and the DON'T take GLASS!!!!! (nt) - Babyfactry 08/21/2008 13:16:47 CDT (0)
Ours doesn't matter since we don't live in the city or have trash pick-up. We just pay a yearly fee to take our garbage and recyclables to the transfer station. (nt) - melsmunchkins 08/21/2008 14:08:11 CDT (1)
2 (nt) - Susies6-pack 08/21/2008 15:25:51 CDT (0)
we can choose between a huge can or a small can. we obviously use a big one. we can pile as high as we want, as long as it doesn't fall out. if it falls out, or if there are any bags around the can, they charge extra. (nt) - skigirl6 08/21/2008 15:47:05 CDT (0)
there is no limit - msjennbug 08/21/2008 15:50:48 CDT (0)
0! We can't put the bags in cans and we have to buy special town bags. At 1.50 a bag it adds up quick. (nt) - kkat 08/21/2008 16:42:15 CDT (0)
2 and they cannot be over 50 pounds each or they will not take it. (nt) - canadianmom 08/21/2008 18:44:10 CDT (0)
The city gives us one trash can one recycling bin (but since we live in a converted 2 family, we have an extra trash can we use for yard waste) But, if you have an alley you use the dumpsters. (nt) - Tiddlywinks 08/21/2008 22:13:26 CDT (0)
Our trash guys take whatever we put out there - canned, bagged, just sitting next to the can, whatever. I know this is not the case in a neighboring city where they have to have only one can, certain bags, etc. but here, anything goes! lol (nt) - wildrose 08/21/2008 22:56:48 CDT (1)

Yes-bang,bang,bang(that is the sound of me hitting my head up against the wall. It has WET and cool all summer and the weather man has the nerve to say" this Friday and Saturday will be Hot and humid- perfect summer conditions, followed by t-storms and cool temps starting Sunday. GUURRRR! Some leaves are starting to drop. (nt) - canadianmom 08/22/2008 08:08:15 CDT (0)
The weather has been very fall-like on & off all month. Strange (but much-welcomed) in the DC area! Beautiful again today! (nt) - Nine-Arrows 08/22/2008 08:31:31 CDT (0)

Fall? What's that? I'll know it's fall when the hot dry winds pick up and the fires begin. That's what signals fall in soCal. (nt) - Imzadi 08/22/2008 11:10:55 CDT (0)
Fall? What's Fall? Here in Texas we have two seasons.... hot and hotter. (nt) - Shawna 08/22/2008 11:23:34 CDT (3)
The big sign here is when the night-time temps get into the 50s. When that happens, then I know, even if the day-time temp is in the 90s, it won't be long and I can handle it for just a bit longer. Yeah for fall!!!! (nt) - wildrose 08/22/2008 16:22:13 CDT (0)

I fold & the kids put their clothes where they belong. I put away Charley & my clothes & towels. (nt) - kpmomof7 08/22/2008 14:29:27 CDT (0)
um, we do just what you described (nt) - msjennbug 08/22/2008 14:35:15 CDT (0)
It depends on how much laundry needs to get done. Usually I fold everything and they put it where it goes. Sometimes, I have them fold thier own clothes and put them away. Other times, I make them divide up the towels and rags, fold them up and put 'em away.. (nt) - mommyto2and2 08/22/2008 14:52:31 CDT (0)
I have tried everything to get these kids to do laundry. NO WAY! I might get downstairs to switch loads and put the dry stuff on the folding table.I get to fold it around 11 pm if I am lucky. Most times the kids will go and dig throw the pile of dry stuff and find 1 item while tossing 90% of it on the floor- where it mixes with the dirty stuff and we begin again. (nt) - canadianmom 08/22/2008 15:38:39 CDT (0)
3 older kids put away their clean laundry on Mondays and Fridays (nt) - dutch-dancer 08/22/2008 15:39:36 CDT (0)
they bring my their hampers when i ask. i wash and dry but the four girls fold and put away their own laundry. i fold mine and jeremy's, as well as the boys. just them doing their own is such an enormous help! (nt) - skigirl6 08/22/2008 15:44:59 CDT (0)
I wash and fold all the clothes then the kids come and get there stacks and put them away. (nt) - proudmommy5 08/22/2008 15:48:30 CDT (0)
16,14,12 yo do own laundry. I put others in basket, they fold and put their own away. I do the baby's. (nt) - joyofsix 08/22/2008 16:55:15 CDT (0)
My oldest kids do their own laundry. Everyone else (including Craig & me) has a laundry basket that I sort all the clothes into. Each person takes their basket and puts their clothes away. (nt) - Nine-Arrows 08/22/2008 16:57:01 CDT (0)
I am very picky about laundry. --m - Mirz 08/22/2008 16:59:12 CDT (1)
I wash all the laundry. I fold it as soon as its done drying because I hate ironing. I put everything into piles for each kid, then the 4 oldest put it away. I put away my hubbys and mine, plus the babies and fix what my 5 yr old did with his, lol. (nt) - Susies6-pack 08/22/2008 17:18:39 CDT (0)
anyone over 11 does their own (if they need help at first i will) and all the rest I do they like to put away but I help them do that too (nt) - my-8-angels 08/22/2008 18:44:04 CDT (0)
