We have charts...DD, 15, and DS, 8 , have daily chores and dd, 5, has a chart but I don't make her do them as often as I should...(m)

the other 2 do them after their afterschool snack and often have extra chores from Mom, 'specially now that I have a baby to care for too. They do things like vacuum, dust, scoop/change cat box, take recyclables out to the recyclable barrel, empty compost bucket, walk/play with the dog outside, clean toilets, empty/load dishwasher, clean out car trash, etc...And I am one of those mean moms that expects all this as being part of the family and does not pay an allowance. :)

	part of our weekly schedule is chores...they are expected to help keep things picked up, put away laundry, bring their own laundry downstair to the main floor, put away clean dishes, clean their own rooms and the play room, clear the table after dinner, things like that (nt) - serialmommy 11/05/2009 20:39
