I don't have any advice about preschool, but I have a stubborn 3.5 yr old ds who is now potty trained!

Our pediatrician recommended going cold turkey--no pullups or diapers. He said he thought Finley would figure it out in a couple of days. It took a week ( a LONG 7 days) but he really did get it! I took my son to the store and let him pick out "big boy underwear" with characters he liked. Also make sure you have lots of clothes or plan on doing extra laundry. I also used a few M & Ms as rewards, and I gave him some just for trying too. Good luck!
