He hates anything that isn't printed in huge letters. It just makes it easier for him. I'd do colors and shapes. Playdough. Lots of creative play re. dress up, puppets, etc. I think preschool shouldn't be too academic. Read to him alot. I would consider upping the signing and looking into speech therapy for him. I had one who did not speak until 3.5 but he is fine now. You might google tot school, there's tons of info out there. The link is below
