Sarah, 4 kids, and dh is out of town, so I'm feeling lazy with dinner. I'll probably do a big salad and chicken fingers!

Jen, 7 kids, first day of school in our house so it's something easy - PIZZA!! (most likely from Sam's Club)

Jamie, 6 kids, either chicken thighs or home made pizza. I'm kind of leaning more toward pizza, not really in the mood for chicken.

Caroline, 37, expecting number seven. Haven't cooked in forever, but I am making stir fry as we speak—one with chicken and one without—and noodles and rice on the side.

I never thought I would say this, but I prefer texting because of the instantaneous communication. Email is second, and I never snail mail.

Books....I love the feel of a book in my hands! Hard to imagine curling up with a kindle....though both my parents have them. They love it for travel. They can go down south for a golf trip in the winter and not have to bring a ton of books with them.

I don't like using a phone in general, I prefer to use a landline but b/c we don't have long distance I have to use the cell phone.

Library......I read too much to buy a lot of books. I go through them like potato chips!

Library. It's free and just around the corner. I go to their website and put a hold on the book and they pull it for me, send it to the closest branch and send me an email when it's there. Very handy.

I search online to see what I want, then reserve it online at the library, pick it up a few days later. I LOVE that!

2-3 yrs ago, got a basic pay-as-you go phone for emergencies (school trying to get ahold of me while I'm shopping, etc). We spend about $5/month, if that.

14 years ago.....we found out I was pregnant with my oldest and we had just moved to Chicago. We didn't know many people, and dh wanted me to be able to call him no matter where I was if something went wrong. So we got me a very basic package. Looking back, the phone was huge! Bigger than my cordless land line phone I have now! LOL!

Augustish 2001. I had that phone forever. I didn't realize I could get an upgrade. I think I kept it for a little over four years before I got a new one. I'm only on my fourth phone in nine years.

Hugs! It's so much harder 3rd time around, it just doesn't go like you're expecting it to, and it makes it drag and be more frustrating than it is already. Hang in there, bub will be here soon. Plan some small things to take your mind off and give you some distractions.

I got mine at 14 and I REALLY wanted them....I was willing to do anything to get them...including offer to pay for replacements if I lost the original (which I had to do about 6 months after I got them and accidently dropped one down the sink.) Also....
