I've used AO for several years. It's a wonderful resource for those of us who love Charlotte Mason ideals but don't know where to start.
It uses as many public domain, free e-books as possible. With a public library, this homeschool curriculum could almost be done for free.

Our goal is to be true to Charlotte Mason's high literary standards. Ambleside Online uses the highest quality books and costs no more than the cost of texts.
