This product is what I thought of the commercial - the commercial is a good representation of what you get. DVDs are good, come in a little box (no exaggeration to break or to compensate for the lack of actual product). Accompanying written materials are also good.
However, I realized that I was not fit enough, if P90X arrived to use it well. I went to buy Tony Horton Power Half Hour and is the first used for a week - had to wake up some muscles that you have left to sleep. I was in good shape most of my life, but is a little loose lately - I must have a foundation before I offered the incredible training, able to jump.
Make no mistake, this is a compromise. The journey is long and difficult, but it is participation. No cheesy animation cheerleader Geek talks on DVD, and not arrogant idiot or a gym rat. If I win the lottery, I'll try to hire Tony as my personal trainer, a good attitude and seems to training with a genuine sense of humility and sense of humor to keep it.
The segment timer is great. Although the training usually are an hour which has fragmented in segments, with a progress bar on the screen - something like the bar of the computer - so you think to adjust your speed and form of training.
Tony uses men and women in varying degrees of flexibility and fitness, there's always a place there on the screen to help me with my own way.
I am a former Marine - and this is used to replace my day thirteen. If I only knew some of these exercises into your day ... So I give a boost in terms of some really hard workouts I have had in the past. In general, a good deal. But beware, not for the fat couch potato.
As the commercial says it's for people who want to be in better shape, is the expectation that they will fit and do the next step.
