I have a RIDGID Shop Vac (purchased from Home Depot) I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT! It has nice attachments. This works great for going along stairs and along the edges of carpeting (along walls) It reaches in those hard to reach places that regular vacuums cannot go.

I cannot live without my RIDGID Shop Vac. It is very helpful to a LOK family to have a Shop Vac. I have had the Shop Vac from Walmart but it did not have near as much suction and it burned out within a year. RIDGID is a lot better quality!
