We owned a Cedar Works playset and it was wonderful! No splinters, well made, and the platform system allowed very young children to climb up safely. We sold the playset with our house and plan to buy another one next year for the new house we are in.

The only disadvantage I see to having this is that once it is shipped you have to assemble it yourself. Ours weighed 1500# and took 10 hours. We live near a Rainbow dealer and they will assemble their playsets for an extra charge. Nonetheless, I think the Cedar Works is worth the extra work.

Also, Cedar Works customer service is outstanding and very helpful in designing what you want.
