2 cups instant biscuit mix, like Bisquick
1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1/4 stick of real butter, cut into small pieces
2 tbsp real bacon bits
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
Combine biscuit mix, garlic, cheddar, milk and bacon, and mix well into soft dough.
Carefully and quickly fold in butter pieces--you don't want them to melt until they are in the oven.
Drop biscuits onto cookie sheet. (Drop biscuits usually form peaks. If you don't want that, smooth the top of each biscuit down.)
Bake for 8 to 10 min at 450 degrees.
Brush with melted butter (or better yet garlic butter) when they come out of the oven.
